But........recently my daughter gave me a book that has some pretty interesting stuff in it on our great state and our county.

Gabriel's Rebellion, the Virginia Slave Conspiracies of 1800 & 1802 by Douglas R. Egerton.

This book has some real eye openers in it in regards to Va. and how folks thought in the 18th and 19th century.

This is the story of Marine Sargeant Carlos Hatchcock, possibly the best sniper in history. If you want to read a book about a truly brave man, this is the one.

This book is not one of the best written I've ever read, but it's got one of the best stories.
