I'd get the flyers in the mail or with my bill saying &quot;you can get dsl now!!!&quot;, and I'd go online and order it.<br><br>Four times I ordered it, received the modem and filters the next day, and then receive an e-mail telling me I was too far out. It only had 2 options for connecting to the internet, and earthlink was the only option that would work, so I signed up for it. <br><br>Well I have slowly been having problems connecting to the internet, I'm on an old laptop that was my Dad's now and MSN doesn't work real well on this.<br><br>But back to the new laptop and internet. I bought a cable to transfer data that you can transfer from XP to Vista.  It didn't say on the package that you had to have XP SP2 which I didn't have.  No problem, I ordered it from Microsoft.  Well got the CD and it won't load on my old computer.  All it will say is 'file not found' but won't give me a file.<br><br>Is there anything I can do to get this fixed?
